How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because i am able to afford medical bills when am sick, and own livestock to support my life, in that I can sell to get money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to buy livestock, build iron sheet roofed houses, buy motorcycles for taxi, pay school fees, and others to marry wives; and there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a heifer, eleven sheep, chicken and hiring land for cultivation.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that this transfer has improved my standard of living. This is because I now have my own assets.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt happy
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying some household items such as beddings, utensils among others approximately at 400,000 ugx. My house did not have most items but this money enabled me to acquire them. I used used part of my transfer in hiring a garden at 300,000 ugx. Since we are two wives I didn't have where to cultivate and decided to get my own land to cultivate in. I then bought some food for feeding my children and some clothes for my children at 300,000 ugx. I also bought solar at 120,000 ugx as a lighting source in my house. I then bought a cow 350,000 ugx as investment for children in the future.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for feeding and buying clothes. This makes my family very un decent and sleeping hungry some days
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment is during afternoon. This is a time i sell soya beans in olilim trading centre ,i get money to sustain my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy clothes and food for my family. My family members currently are not decent because they only have a single old and torne clothes.
