What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy clothings for my children worth 600,000 UGX, and I spent 100,000 UGX on feeding, I also sent my mother 50,000 UGX, and sent my sibling 50,000 UGX. I am planning to plaster my house with the remaining 800,000 UGX.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well and sent me money that helped my family. Hunger would have killed my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different jw in that it was incomplete before because I could not support my family. But when this money arrived, my life became better. I am now happier and complete because I built a nice house for my children and I can afford food , something which was unusual.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying household items like matress at 90,000 ugx and sofa set chairs at 150,000 ugx. I was also able to pay my two children school fees of 100,000 ugx. I am planning to use the balance to build for my children a spacious room since where they are sleeping now is very small and they keep fighting.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very happy then my husband and I knelt down to thank God for this opportunity.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am able to sleep well on a bigger matress. When I finish to build a specious room for my children, they will stop fighting for space and we shall all have peace at home.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life is lack of money for taking my children to study in boarding school and yet education is key to success.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day falls in two parts ,that is to say afternoon and evening hours especially when my children have eaten lunch and supper.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money means solving many problems in my family for example paying my children's school fees , buying cattle to rare for future use and renovating my house.
