How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life money which we get from our dairy cow. Before we had no cow in our compound and I would buy milk thought out the year. This has now come to an end after I got one which is now lactating.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The transfers enabled us to make a great step in life. The amount is good and the criteria is fair to everyone. On the other hand I have nothing to point out that Give Directly never did right.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend part of the second transfer on buying radio, solar light system and a battery. I then spent the other portion on buying a dairy cow, some maize for consumption and the rest to prepare land for planting.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been planning to increase the number of livestock since I want to become a dairy farmer and have sufficient source of income. Since I did not further my studies, I have decided to become a dairy farmer and I thank God since GiveDirectly will soon make my dreams come true.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening since it is the only free time I have with my family after my daily chores. Chatting with my family on our next move and how the day was makes me alive and relaxed.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is failure to further my studies. My parents were unable to cater for my School fees since I had other sibblings who were also in School yet my intention was to further my education beyond secondary level.
