Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal for the next four months is to buy irons sheets and other building materials for building my new house. I am planning to save the monthly transfers I get from Give Directly and top it up with the money I will be getting from the casual jobs in order to buy enough building materials.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago. I am now hopeful of living in my own home. Through the transfers I got from Give Directly I have already bought the necessary building materials. Initially, I only used to depend on casual jobs. The money I got from these jobs was enough to buy basic needs. I used to save nothing towards this goal therefore there were slim chances of establishing my home. I am happy that soon I will be living with my family in our homestead.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have fully furnished my home in the next six months. I will have completed building the house by then and hopefully saved enough money to buy the necessary furniture to start with. All in all, I will have achieved my greatest dream of living in my homestead

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is totally different as I have paid school fees for my child who now gets to stay in school and concentrate on the studies. I have bought household items like utensils to help in serving my husband and our visitors well. I have also restocked my business to help boost the levels of income for my family. This is the main source of income for the family as I can easily pay school fees for my children, buy them stationery and clothes to put on their backs and even buy food daily for consumption.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save and buy building materials like cement and sand that I plan to use in plastering my mother's house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the preceding four months is that I have been able to pay school fees for my child and now the child has got no shool fee arrears for the term. The child does not get to be sent away from school to clear any outstanding fee balance as we pay the arrears in time. I cannot thank GiveDirectly enough for making my child's dream of going to school come true.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I plan to save and buy building materials like cement and sand to use in plastering my mother's house as she has a mud smeared house which is hectic to maintain. I have a sibling who is sitting for the final exams in primary school so I want to save in the next six months so that when she joins secondary school, we can have a fallback plan.
