How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that I now have my own land that I am able to plant get enough yield. I no longer spend money to lease other people's farm or even lack food because since I bought the land I am getting enough yield that always sustain me to the next harvesting season. As compared to before when I had to spend money to lease the farm or even plant a very small peace of land and this leading to law produce.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give directly did a very good think by dealing with people directly and not involving other people. It was a good to sign helper to the vulnerable people since the have managed to spend their money wise without theft cases.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to buy three hectares of land. I thought if buying land because I did not have enough land to cultivate, I had a very small peace of land where I could plant but it could never give me enough produce to sustain me. I have been spending money buying maize for my consumption being that I could not get enough harvest. I am very happy since I received the money and bought land, I am able to plant the whole land and get enough produce for my consumption and even sometimes I sell some to get money for my up keep. Since then I have never spend money to buy maize in the market for my consumption.
