What did you spend your third transfer on?
I Used my third transfer to complete my 3bedroomed house. And part of it paid dowry for my wife and also bought some Household assets like chairs and utensils
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Hahaha the greatest difference in my life is that I managed to build a 3bedroomed house and also marry a wife as I was able to pay her dowry. This is something I never thought I would achieve in life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give out transfers to a considerable number of people and not just a small number. The GD program is also transparent, they did exactly what they promised to do right from the beginning.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy construction materials and i have started construction of a 3 room house since i was sleeping in a a small single room
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i was able to get a phone that i couldnt get on my own and also i have started constructing a bigger house that i didnt have before.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes bricks and a mattress! I used my first transfer to buy bricks for a 2bedroomed house because the onebi have now is in poor conditions and very small for my family. I also bought a mattress because i did not have it before the transfer yet I badly needed it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I woke up in the morning and what u checked was my phone, my eyes set on money from GiveDirectly. I was extremely happy.

I plan to use my transfer on starting a small business of selling clothes in my village and the remaining balance to build a better metal house.

My proudest achievement in life is buying mattress.

The biggest hardship I am facing is lacking capital to start my small business of selling clothes.

The happiest part of the day is in the evening when I am with friends in the trading center.
