What did you spend your third transfer on?
Since I had bought a plot of land with my second transfer, I spent my third transfer on constructing a descent iron roofed house for my family on that land. This is because the house we were living in was bad and it was a mud and grass thatched house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My family especially our child would have died of hunger if we had not received transfers because it was getting harder by the day to get what to eat because of the famine that we were faced with however my life is now different in a way that I can afford a daily meal for my family thanks to the transfers I received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by delivering as promised at the beginning of the program. It also does well by always intervening to help whenever we have issues related to the transfers.
