What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 12 bags of cement for 9,000 KES, sand for 6,000 KES, 2 wooden doors for 6,000 KES, paints for 1,000 KES and paid 7,000 KES to have the walls and floor plastered. Transport cost me 2,000 KES and I also paid up a debt of 10,000 KES. The rest of the transfer was spent on other HH expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have plastered the walls of my house and now I do not have to worry about rain ruining the walls any more. I have also plastered the floor and it is now much easier to clean.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
l spend 4000 kshs to buy mattress and l also renovated my house, so l bought 18 window glass at 1440 kshs, l also bought paint for painting the house worth 3000 kshs the balance l use for paying labour.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
l am planning to build a kitchen for children to have place to sleep in.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer to plaster my house. I also plan to spend the transfer to construct a toilet. I also plan to spend the transfer to buy foodstuff.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have managed to pay school fees for three of my children up to college. I managed this through saving little money that I got from my business of selling sisal ropes.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced is when my husband died and left me with little children to take care of. I had to work extra hard to feed them and also look for their school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when am in the Market selling Sisal ropes to the locals. I feel very happy because I expect to get some profit.
