What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees for my child to enable him acquire education. He missed the first term because i didn't have money for his school fees so I utilised this opportunity to clear his school dues.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would be living a stressful life because of poverty since i don't work due to my weak health and yet I have to provide for my child without support from his father however my life is different in a way that i no longer worry about money since i receievd transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by guiding us and comforting us when necessary because I had personally lost hope when I didn't get money with the first lot however they kept on comforting me and asking me to be patient until I received the money.

On a house! I have used my second transfer to cement and plaster my house which has been dusty.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to renovate my house is the biggest difference in my daily life. I used my second transfer to cement and plaster my house and I am glad.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying building materials like bricks and iron sheets to build a kitchen because i was cooking from outside and the rain and wind were disturbing me.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money i felt happy. At first I didn't know the money had come but when my son checked and told me it was there I was really happy and relieved because I thought I had not gone through.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the cash transfer on constructing a kitchen house and also renovate our family house that is incomplete.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did purchase a plot of land that am planning to construct another second family house if i get enough money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have ever faced is losing my two children in any accident in the year 2007.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during morning hours especially when i wake up healthier with my grandchildren.
