What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on opening a shop business at a nearby market centre. I had done this kind of a business though under somebody and realized how good the business was in terms of profit yielding. I am glad that my prayers of owning my own shop was finally answered. I am so proud to serve my community with a variety of all items, a courtesy of GiveDirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed a lot with the transfers from GiveDirectly. I am happily engaged in my shop, working diligently to ensure that my customers are served well and maximum profit reaped. I am capable of acquiring all the basic needs that my family may need.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly works well by giving people a very huge a mount of money to help them solve the various financial problems they are facing in life. One thing I would recommend about the program is giving more consideration to the elderly than the youths as was done.
