What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay labourers for building a house, as well as tilting gardens,and paid school fees for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving people money to raise their standards of living.For example people now have better houses, bought livestock and there's improved feeding among most households.And don't see anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because am now self sustainable, able to afford to do what i couldn't before, like meeting some household expenses.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy building materials such as sand, bricks for building a simple iron sheet roofed house, paid school fees and hired a tractor to tilt my gardens.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i felt very happy because we didn't believe money would actually been sent so soon.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is, i was able to do so much with the money within a short time, and this makes me so happy.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is lack of money to build a house for my grand children. Building a house has been my priority after educating my children but this has not been possible.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is after having break fast.Having a meal and seeing all my family members happy is my joyful moment.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building an iron roof house. This will help accomodate my married daughters, grand children whenever they come back to visit me in the village.
