What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 20000 KES of my first lumpsum transfer on a sofa set, 14000 KES on a cow, 3000 KES on a goat for dowry and I visited my in-laws to pay the dowry with the remaining 13000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am now living with certainty that I am happily married with my husband since my marriage has been bonded by the payment of the dowry which is a big difference in my daily life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to spend the transfer to construct a bigger house to accommodate our family. We also plan to spend the transfer to pay bride price required by the in-laws. We also plan to spend the transfer to buy a cow. We also plan to spend part of the transfer to start a business that we hope to provide us with income in future.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have been able to build a house for the family. The little money that we saved enabled us to buy iron sheets and other building materials which we used for construction.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is lack of a stable source of income to sustain the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the evening when am having dinner with my family. I always feel proud whenever we have dinner together as a family because its that time that we bond as a family.
