What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on replacing new iron sheet roof from the corroded second hand iron sheets roof that I used to have.I bought a she- cow to add onto my herd of livestock which I had bought with the second transfer .I paid school fees for my sibling who in high school 5000 KES .I also cultivation kales onto my farm which is along the river - side and bought fishing nets to double my daily income.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy cattle, one bull and a cow for rearing and the bull to help me during ploughing and the cow to provide my family with milk. I bought a sack of maize for consumption, I bought a water tank to store water. I spent some amount to pay school fees for my nephew the remaining amount, I spent to buy household goods which I did not have and also to buy cement.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I do not spend money to buy small portions of grains and the money I used in buying maize is channeled somewhere else. Thank you GD for the transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase a sack of maize for my family consumption. I also bought my wife a new cloth being that she only used to borrow form neighbors whenever she was going somewhere it was quite embarrassing. I am happy she no longer has to borrow from neighbors any more. I reamained with some little amount that I used to plough my land ready for the rains.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer,I was so happy. My wife heard me laughing and came to me to confirm why ,when I showed her the message,She too laughed. My whole family was happy.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is that, I stay with orphans who are unable to go school due to lack of fees. I want to thank Givedirectly for the money because I will now be able to take my children and the orphans am staying with to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the evening because since its the moment I share with my family on the achievement of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am farmer who struggles to get food for my family. Receiving this money is going to enable me purchase modern farm inputs which will help me grow different varieties hence increased food production for my family. I will also purchase fishing equipment to enable me get more fish for sales so as improve my living standard for a better future. The remaining amount,I will use to renovate my leaking house.
