What did you spend your second transfer on?
We spent 35,000KES on paying my dowry, bought a solar lamp @5,000KES. I also paid 4,000KES debt to our women group, and spent 5,000KES on buying clothes for the children and ourselves.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
We have been working hard to raise money to pay my dowry, but it has been difficult until we received the transfer. We are now using solar lamp and not the keosene lamp which is smoky.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfer to construct a bigger house. I also plan to use part of the transfer to pay bride price required by my in-laws. I also plan to spend the transfer to buy furniture. I also plan to spend the transfer to start a small business for income generation.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have struggled so hard through our little income and built iron roofed house for the family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced in life is that of low income that has forced my family to be victims of hunger.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the morning when am in my farm weeding. I hope to get good harvest from the farm and this makes me happy.
