What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing a bag of maize for the family consumption and bought fertilizer to get more yields. I also paid fees for my two children in high school and used most of the transfer on purchasing building materials hoping to construct a nice house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I managed to cultivate my parcel of land ealy enough and used fertilizer for the whole portion of land unlike before where part of it was left out without using fertilizer due to lack of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was not demanding for bribes for the recipients to be enrolled in the program.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing food to sustain the family,paid school fees for my child and spent most of the transfer on purchasing a dairy cattle that I would sell the young ones to take care of school fee.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the improvements that I see around the house because of the items bought using the transfer.

I spend my first transfer on paying loan 3000 KES,school fee 5000 KES and use the remaining 2000 KES on food.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to pay school fees for my daughter who is in secondary school and also save some money for my son who is due to join secondary school next year. If there are any funds remaining I plan on buying a dairy cow.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having moved from town where we used to stay. We did not have a homestead but I really struggled and managed to assist my spouse when he was building our current house and establishing our homestead.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my daughter who is in secondary school, I also have a son who is due to join secondary school next year. If I am unable to raise the required fees they have to defer their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening especially when I am socializing with my friends. The atmosphere is usually very lively and this makes me very happy.
