Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save money to buy farm inputs. I'm planning on starting a horticulture farming. I will have enough food for the family and I will sell the surplus at the market to earn an income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I was able to pay school fees for my two children in secondary school. I depend on scale farming to earn an income to meet the basic needs and also for the school fees for my children. I also run a small retail shop at home. The amount of money that I get through these two sources is so small and I was not able to pay school fees on time. My children would be sent home to collect the school fees and since I did not have ready cash they would stay home and this was affecting their performance. I used the money from the shop and the stock was going down I also closed it at some point. When I received the money from GiveDirectly I had no problem paying the school fees in that I could use the money to buy stock and the returns from the business I could pay school fees on time. My children would not be sent home like before and their performance improved. I'm so happy because my life has changed to be better.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I would have save some money to add stock to my retail business. The rate of return will be high due to bigger stock and I will get profits.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My expectation in the next four months is to expand my kiosk. From the proceeds I generate from the farm, I plan to purchase some building materials for the expansion then add some stock. I believe that I will be generating more income from the kiosks in the near future which will enable me to meet my household needs as well as cater for school fees for my two fostered children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is I am happier because I have been in a position to consistently pay school fees for my fostered children. Education is key in someone's life and my goal is to put a smile on other people's hearts. I committed myself to always spent the monthly transfers on the two children that I fostered and luckily enough, GiveDirectly came to my aid. I am now optimistic that the two after completing their studies, they will lead a better life and that is my joy
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life will be much better in the next six months because, with the extension of the shop, I will be generating more income and so will no longer strain much working on the farm because my income sources will also increase. Already, With the additional income, I plan to enroll one of the children in college come next year as she will be completing her O-level. Generally, the wellbeing of my entire household will improve and that is my joy
