How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because we built an iron sheet roofed house and sleep without the inconvenience of a leaking grass thatched house, having acquired livestock, future money problems can be solved when these are sold. Before, we used to sleep under a leaky grass thatched house causing children to cry when it rains at night, and there was nothing to look after as an asset in the home like we now have cows.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving me money directly that has enabled to build an iron sheet roofed house, buy livestock, clothes, and no one has ever done such a thing in my life town.I don't see anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy a bull, plastering the house and replacing the door, bought clothes, mattress, and food.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I became so happy when I saw the money in my phone because I never expected it that time. I was so happy because I knew I was going to build a house and will not have to squeeze myself with the children.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have been having few household items for examples utensils and beddings. When I got my transfer, I decided to buy more. I have been sleeping in a small house which I shared with children and I decided to build another bigger house that I will move in when completed and leave the other for the chidren.
