What did you spend your third transfer on?
I bought 2 cows. I fenced my home using barbed wire. Besides, I invested the rest of the transfer in horticulture farming.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a reliable source of income from my horticulture farming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it give us opportunity to manage such a huge finance. At the moment I don't know what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to grow tomatoes in my one acre piece of land. I also spent part of the transfer to buy furniture.Previously I used to sit on plastic chairs. I have also been using some part of the money I saved to buy food and pesticides for my tomatoes. When I harvest in the next three months,I believe I will make more income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have my own farm that I attend to everyday, and I know I will be able to get some good income when I harvest. Thanks to GiveDirectly for the money. I know I will make more money than even the transfers I received through their transfers. I could have never been to this level.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to invest part of my transfer on rice farming by leasing a land, buying seeds and fertilizer, secondly I will start a second hand clothes business to help suppliment farming.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Few years back I saved some cash and bought one dairy cow which gave birth to two more but unfortunately I sold them off when my brother passed on and we needed cash for the funeral arrangements.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
With no land to scale up farming, making ends meet has been very difficult. This is even hard because I have no other sources of income to suppliment farming.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I enjoy studying the word of God especially in the evening after the meals with my children. It gives me strength to soldier on even in the midst of life challenges.
