What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paid 15,000 KES school fee for my son in high school, bought school uniforms and books for my three children in primary school at 5,000 KES, building materials at 20,000 KES, a sack of maize at 4,000 KES, then used the rest of the money on little house items.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I managed to see my son through high school education, something I wouldn't have done were it not for GiveDirectly. My younger children are also very neat and smart.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by sending the transfers directly to the recipient hence no corruption.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second transfer on paying school fees 15,000 KES. I also bought 32 pieces of iron sheets 23,000 KES, timbers 5,000 KES, one sack of maize 2800 KES and food for my family 4000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest different in my daily life is that I have paid school fees for my child who was sent home for school fees. I have also bought building materials to build a small house for my eldest son so that he can share with his other siblings because all of them are sleeping in the kitchen at the moment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to do poultry farming to generate income for my family. Secondly l would wish to pay school fees for my son who is in form three and has fees problem. Finally l would like to build my son a house to them get a place to sleep.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that we have worked hard and bought a piece of land where we have built our since we did not have land.

My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to pay school fees and feed my children.
