What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying 30 bags of cement since I am planning to renovate my house from a mud house to a cemented one. I paid school fees for first term and second term for my child who is in high school .I also bought cushions for my chair and bedding.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have paid school fees for my child for to consecutive school terms and now my child is going to school with no worries of being sent home for school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving money with no strings attached in my community since this individuals their living standards have improved positively especially the widows who were living in the worst conditions.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to enlarge my house so that my children could find a room to sleep in and we can find enough space to keep our belongings. I also plastered the walls and floor of my house to make it look decent. I also bought cushions for my seats, a sewing machine that I will use to start a clothes repair business in the village and the remaining amount was spent to pay school fees for my child joining secondary school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that my house is now bigger and looks very decent. It is more comfortable to live in and my children now have their privacy.

I plan to resume my business.I was doing business of selling grains but it collapsed because I did not have enough money to purchase enough stock.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
After my parents passed on,I took care of my younger brother and paid for his school fees from class to upto form four.That makes me very proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that I always farm but get low produce because I lack money to buy better grains and fertilizers to use on my farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest of the day is in the morning when I am working on my farm knowing that I would get food for my family.
