What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We have not had rains in this region since early last year. Therefore, we have not had any produce from our lands. Feeding has been the major hardship for us, followed by the children's constant sickness. We have been in and out of hospital for close to two months now. Now, we have nothing left.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the morning, because, I've been given another opportunity in life.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It would mean everything. I've always wanted to have my own home for my growing family, but with my little income from our fishing business, it has been next to impossible. I'm excited about receiving this money because I'm going to buy materials and build a house for my family.
