What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent the whole of it on building materials including 10 iron sheets, 3 steel windows, 15 Kg of nails and 100 round poles. I am very motivated that I will soon be moving to my new home and if it were not for my pregnancy and the attached luo cultural beliefs about it, I would have been there by now.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been without the transfer in that I have managed to afford building materials that I couldn't afford before and it is my pleasure that I will soon be moving to my new home, courtesy of Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I can say that Give Directly targets the poorest objectively as opposed to subjectively and I would only urge them they make their projects a little longer. I have a feeling that they offer us help for a shorter period something that they are not doing right.
