What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I added more iron sheets and other building materials given that I had bought some using my previous transfers, I used them to build my own house in my own compound. I also bought two cows that I am rearing and corn for my family consumes too using the remaining amount.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a cow at 15,000 KES, ten iron sheets at 6,000 KES, seats and a table at 9,000 KES, a sack of maize at 5,000 KES, paid 2,000 KES school fee for my two children in primary, uniforms, books and clothes at 4,000 KES, gave 4,000 KES to my spouse then used the rest on food for the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my visitors no longer sit on jerrycans because I now have decent seats. My children are also no longer being sent out of school due to fee balances because I paid for their fees with the transfers.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing bedding for my family. In my entire life since marriage I have never owned a mattress and a bed. I spend my cold nights on a mat on the floor something that has exposed me to several cold related infections.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my money, I felt so happy. I jumped high calling upon God to bless Give Directly. I knew that the money would transform my life a lot.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on buying home furniture since we do not have any,secondly we intend to invest some of the cash in bricks making business since that is the source of income we rely on currently and lastly we will use the rest in buying household items and food.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to build our current house,we used to rent in a nearby center and paying rent was not easy given that income from our business was not much.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we are facing currently is on paying school fees for our children, this also involves getting them books and uniforms which has been difficult for us given that we have little income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I find time to make bricks,I'm always happy and hopeful doing this since I'm able to get some money to support my family.
