What did you spend your third transfer on?
From my third transfer, I bought iron sheets at 8,400 KES, bought building nails at 700 KES, bought timber 10,000 KES, made a down payment of 5,000 KES on a cupboard I intend to buy, , bought steel door at 5,000 KES and the remaining 14,625 KES I have kept as savings.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My main goal is to start a cereal business.

My life is different in that I do not ask anybody for anything, I no longer work for people for wages

I used my second transfer to pay college fees for my grandchild 20000 KES, shopping for school effects and her pocket money 7000 KES, 2 goats 6000 KES, a bag of maize 3000 KES, food 3800 KES and i saved 10000 KES that i will top up and use to buy a cow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changes because i am able to provide food on a daily basis for my grandchildren and i no longer have debts that are a source of stress.

I am planning to start a small business selling cereals like beans, maize, sorghum and millet.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having saved with the national social security fund while my spouse was still alive. When he died I was able to utilise these funds to establish a homestead for my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to cater for medical treatment for myself and my daughter. I have a chest infection while she is epileptic . It is very difficult getting time to look for work which can bring in some income to supplement what we get from subsistence farming.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning, especially when I wake up feeling fine and my body is healthy.
