How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers have made my life much better and comfortable. I am a proud owner of a finished permanent house. I was able to renovate the incomplete mud house which had no windows. I was almost suffocating in the house due to poor ventilation. Furthermore, I am happy that I was able to pay all my children's school fees with ease. Previously, I had to borrow loans to clear the school fees. I am glad that the cash transfers were sent at the time when I was in distress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to send us cash transfers that have helped many. I also love the fact that GiveDirectly does not segregate people while sending the cash transfers.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the second cash transfer to pay school fees and paying the builders.
