What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails, iron roofing sheets and a steel door, these will be used to build a better house for my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having started a small business selling second hand clothes and the profits enabled me to educate my child up to secondary level. I was also able to build my current house and pay dowry to my in laws using profits I saved, sadly I had to close down the business later on.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself. I currently practice rain fed agricultural methods, this as you know is not reliable thus whenever there is drought my family suffers a lot as my income diminishes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I have finished all my tasks at the farm and can then relax together with my family and friends if any are around.
