How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that I plough my gardens on time un like before I would cultivate my gardens with diffcult hence my family now does not sleep hungry because we have enough food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD did well to support me financially because now I own bulls that help me to plough my garden and there is nothing bad GD has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy 2 bulls which costed 1,200,000ugx, 2 piglets at 80,000ugx, and sheep at 50,000ugx. The balance of money is what I am using to cater for my household necessities.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfers for purchasing a bull that I intend to use for ploughing, I also bought utensils worth 29,000ugx, I acquired beddings worth 294,000ugx and bought clothes worth 200,000ugx. I also spent 60,000ugx for purchasing food for the household. While some, I used for purchasing a table and chairs to improve on my living standards. The balance of 556,000ugx, we are still planning how to spend it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer, I felt very excited.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now own a bull that am using with the one of my neighbour for opening up land for agriculture.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of oxen. I have nothing that i can use for ploughing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i listen to music.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to buy livestock, build an iron roofed house, buy household items.
