I spent my entire third transfer to invest on Mpesa business. This is now my major source of income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have a business of my own and no longer works for people as casual laborer. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well inn giving unconditional cash to recipients and leaving them to make their own decisions on how to spend it. I have not seen anything they did not do well.

I am planning to expand my house because it's small, set up an Mpesa business so as to increase my level of income and use the remaining amount on school fee.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I am a young entrepreneur who strives to offer my family quality life. I am happy today that through hard work, my children are attending very good private schools and so they have a bright future.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in life is poor health. I have a chest condition that sometimes disrupts my work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am receiving many customers at my shop.
