What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me reconstruct my house. The present house is not spacious, and it leaks during the rainy season. Beside, I plan to save 2000 KES per month. With an accumulation of 15000KES will be able to acquire a motorbike on credit.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Sundays form part of my happiest moments. This is contributed by the fact that am off my routine job. I get a similar feeling, though not much, every evening when I go back to bed after a whole day in the bush looking after cattle.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Dropping out of secondary school while in form two shuttered my dreams. My parents (farmers) were not able to support me. I went to town to do casual jobs (on hardware). I happened to get a wife but since my monthly salary could not cater to our needs(rent, food, and other personal effects for my family and me) I had to turn back to the village. I have since been working as a shepherd while my wife does substance farming. Life has not been easy with 2000KES as my monthly salary.
