Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I intend to boost my fish business by adding to the stock. Besides that, I am as well thinking of venturing into livestock keeping. I have seen it being a lucrative business and a good way of saving in kind.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I have managed to boost my business, bought food for my household, and paid school fees. Previously, I depended entirely on my fish selling business which was not a guarantee that I would realize sales every day. On certain days I experienced losses and this would affect the business causing reduced revenues. When the business was down it meant that raising food and school fee was going to be tough. But GD has eased the burden and nowadays I am less worried even on bad business days.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am positive that with the boost of the fish stock I will be moving more fish and making more profits. Besides that, I am hoping to have taken baby steps through the purchase of a few livestock towards livestock keeping as a major project soon.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal at the moment because I spent my transfer to stabilize my small fish business. I have been doing this business for a while. It has been doing well and it was the major source of my livelihood, though it reached a time it was almost collapsing due to a lot of financial problems I was facing. I really thank Give Directly for having come for its rescue were it not for them it could completely collapse because I had no hope of getting any finances to revive it. I have been spending my transfer to boost my business thus this has really increased my daily income. I have more profits which enables me to comfortably meet my household needs
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I now have a stable business after investing part of my transfers on it. After investing part of my transfers on it I have been able to increase my profits which have made it easier to buy a well balanced diet for my family. I have hope that soon the business will continue growing and I have confidence that I will even stop taking items from our local store on credit to boost it. I will also avoid taking loans from the loaning groups in our village. I really want to thank Give Directly for having empowered us financially because it has strengthened most of us both socially and physically more so I, I am really motivated to work extra to improve my living standard together with my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I believe boosting my business will give me a better profit in the next six months. I have school-going children and whatever profit I get from my business will enable me to support them in terms of fee payment and also buying food. I will also stop doing the hectic casual jobs that pay very little wages unlike before.,

Livestock rearing is often associated with a lot of prestige in our village. The community members who have raised livestock from time immemorial have unending wealth as they rely on their livestock financially during any constraints. With this in mind, I have always been determined to venture into livestock rearing to help my family generate income. The transfers have enabled me to fulfil this dream by buying a fleet that I am now rearing and that I can confess the biggest difference in my daily life in the past months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have managed to save and start a business which generates income for my family. We eat well, dress well and most of all I can pay school fees for my children with ease and they are not sent away from school to clear fee balances. Our living standards are so different from the previous one. Beforehand, we could go without food or take just a meal a day. This was due to the low income I earned from doing casual work. My energy levels were also so down as I would do tedious jobs with no proper food to eat.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I cannot really say I have any additional goal. I want to major my thoughts on the goals I had previously set so that they can come out perfectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life right now is that I saved the transfers and started a small business. The growth of this business has been so tremendous as I have been pumping more and more money into it. This has seen the profit margin rise and I can now get enough money to fend for my family and still invest some in the same business. It has also enabled me to fend for my family with a lot of ease. They eat well and healthily and also dresses in nice and beautiful clothes. I can go about doing my farm work with a lot of energy as I eat well too.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I want to save towards buying building materials i.e cement and sand that I want to use to finish building my house. I had built a house back then but it was smeared with mud which gave my children constant flu due to the dust. I also want to build a toilet as I do not have one and I am tired of using my neighbour's. I look forward to living in a clean, serene and beautiful house once I am done with the finishing.
