What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to add 20 more iron sheets and other building materials that I will use to construct my new house. The balance was used to buy foodstuffs for my family since drought had spoilt our crops leading to poor yields last season.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had no land of my own, but I managed to buy a piece of land on which I plan to build my home. I have also bought building materials, thus giving me hope of getting a new house for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly's implementation of the program is so good, especially the idea of sending transfers directly to recipients; because corruption was put at bay through that.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my third cash transfer on building a house because I stayed in my grandfather's home and at my old age staying at my grandfather's was a bit embarrassing.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have built my home and I'm respected more in the community. Thanks to the cash transfer from Givedirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on processing new birth certificates for my 3 children which costed me 3,000 KES,bought 10 iron sheets at 5,000 KES and i used the remaining money on food.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to buy building materials to build a new house with my next transfer because the one am living in at the moment is small and in a bad condition.
