What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used my third transfer on a house. I used my third my transfer to build a house of 2bedrooms with cement and iron sheets from the papyrus-roofed one.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had a mad and papyrus roofed house before the transfer but after receiving the transfer, I managed to build a better house with bricks, cement and iron sheets. So my life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send us money directly on our phones.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying construction materials (iron sheets, timber, bricks and cement ) as we prepare to build a good house for the family. I also bought food for the family to counteract famine and kept the rest for up keep.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is being able to access basic needs for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes, bricks and food! I spent my first transfer on bricks for a 3 bedrooms house because the house i have now is roofed with papyrus and it leaks during rains so sleeping when it is rainging becomes a problem. I also bought food and paid my medical bills using my transfer. I am grateful.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home then i heard a message on my phone, it was of money from GiveDirectly, this made me feel so good and happy.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a house so that I can shift from my father's compound and the remaining balance I will use it to start a small shop.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is starting a small poultry business that I hope to sustain my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing now is accommodating my family because the house is to small we can not fit in even a visit have no space to be accommodated
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when I am listening to radio with my husband well discussing the future of our family.
