What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a blessing to me and my family because the money will help some of our daily problems. I cant hide how happy i am and i know my life will never be the same again. I want to use at least k100000 to buy fertilizer. I hope this will help us have bumper yield next year and hunger will be a history. I also want to buy at least 3 bags of cement to finish the floor which i already started. This would cost around k30000. All in all am proud to be part of this program
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months, i would say the news that Give Directly was coming to our village has been the best news ever. I think nothings beats this as such i would say your coming has brought joy in my life. Apart from this i haven't been sick for the past months and this has brought joy as well
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the main challenge i am facing at the moment is lack of financial support from my children. I have grown up children who would now be taking care of me but none of them supports me. I stay without a proper meal most of the days as i only depend on porridge. I do not have any maize in my house and i have to do some casual labour to find money to buy maize flour.
