What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my entire third transfer to buy building materials like iron sheets, timber and nails which I have used to build my house and also paid laborers who built my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have moved into my own compound soon like it has happened now and this makes me very happy. Thank you GD
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has uplifted the living standards of recipients in our community. GiveDirectly should consider working in all villages within a sub-location.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing food to sustain the family,a calf to keep,paid school fees for the children and spent most of the money on purchasing cows that I paid as dowry which is required as per the tradition.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that,I am stress free because of the school fees that I paid and my children are not sent out of school because of the fee arrears anymore.

I have planned to move to my own compound and build a permanent house for my family. I will also like to buy a few welding materials so I can set my own business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is that I have a roof for my family and I have two cows.

The biggest hardship is lack of employment,which makes providing for my family very difficult.

The happiest part of my day is when am taking care of my livestock during the day.
