What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a bull which will assist me in ploughing. I spent some amount to hire laborers who renovated my house, I bought three and a half sacks of maize for consumption. The remaining amount, I spent some for my child's upkeep.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have built a bigger house which am currently living in unlike the one I was living in which was much smaller. I would not have achieved all this without the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfer which has brought alot of development and uplifted the living standards of recipients. GiveDirectly should consider increasing the transfer to around 20,000 KES

The biggest difference in my life is that l am now staying in a spacious house that l do not squeeze my things in one place, l am also sleeping in a very comfortable place.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I wish to rebuild my house as soon as possible since it's worn out and the roof is liking. I also wish to buy some livestock and keep in my compound.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement is that I tree nursery where I grow some seedlings and sell later in order to make money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is lack of money to give our children proper education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when am working and I get paid at the end of the day.
