What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy motorcycle for transportation business and also paid for maintenance of the motorcycle. The remaining amount, I spent to pay school fees for my children who are in primary school and also on daily household expenditure.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have owned my own motorcycle for business which helps me to feed my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending the transfer directly to recipient without any corruption involved. I have not seen anything that Gd has not done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building materials; I have bought 32 iron sheets and building timbers and I am now planning to construct an iron-roofed house and move to my new home. Living in my parents compound has been putting for me a lot of restrictions curbing me from development. There are some of the things like effective farming that I can't still pursue till I move to my new home, according to Luo culture and traditions.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference I can mention in my daily life is that I am now living a more optimistic man in life. I never new that It would one day come a time when moving out of my parent's compound would be a reality since I couldn't afford to build and move to my new home but now, I have all the materials ready and this will soon come to a reality.

I am planning to spend my transfer to buy a motorcycle which I will use to do taxi business, so that I stop using the leased motorcycle that I am currently using.

The achievement I am proudest of is building my own house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing is the lack of money to do other things, because almost all the money I get, goes into buying food and so it's hard to keep any savings.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have brought home some food which my wife cooks for us and the children.
