How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers uplifted my household alot. I sleep in a well complete plastered house courtesy of the first cash transfer. In addition to this, I acquired household items such as a bed and utensils which I could not afford before. I also purchased an ox which has boosted our labour force. Previously, I had to borrow oxen for ploughing and which was embarrassing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly does well to send the poor unconditional cash transfers. Secondly,GiveDirectly does well to follow up on how recipients are spending their transfers. On the otherhand, I cannot point out any wrong doings connected to GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfers to purchase an ox and a door. Then the balance was spent on food.
