What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing food for the family consumption, bought a plough and a bull to help in farm work and used the larger percentage of the amount on purchasing a water tank to collect water during rainny seasons.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have a water tank and I easily collect rain water hence does not have to go to far places to fetch it and I also have my own bull and plough that I use in farm work unlike before when I had to pay people to cultivate my parcel of land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was giving a lumpsum amount of money to the recipients and they were able to venture into big projects like purchasing huge water tanks.

From my second transfer, I bought water tank at 20,000 KES, spent 2,000 on transportation of the water tank, spent 10,000 KES to buy an ox plough and spent an extra 200 KES on maintenance of the ox plough, spent 13,500 KES to buy a bull, bought 1 sack of maize at 3,000 KES and the remaining 970 KES, I spent on food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life, I now have an ox-plough which I can use to earn a living through other peoples land.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to to expand my poultry house because it's small, buy goats that I can convert into cash to pay school fee and purchase a ploughing machine and bulls so as to ease my work as a farmer and realize good harvest.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have managed to purchase household furniture and livestock by engaging in table banking.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in life is that I lack money to engage in large scale farming and so my income isn't sufficient to meet my financial needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am done with my daily tasks and achieved my objectives for the day.
