How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has totally changed in that, I no longer sleep in a leaking thatched house because I built a permanent one. I never had the money before to construct a permanent structure.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has only benefited me because I was able to survey my plot of land and build a permanent house with the unconditional cash transfer I received. This therefore means that they have done nothing bad as yet.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to buy a bicycle and to pay the builder that built my house. I also surveyed my plot of land and I'm planning to buy a cow with the balance.

I spent my first cash transfer worth UGX 1,700,000, for buying building materials like cement, bricks, and iron sheets and I paid labour for the builders who have already started work on my house.
