How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that, I have less stressful days since I now own a motor cycle that I use to generate daily household income.

What Give Directly does well is giving unconditional cash transfers which has impacted in many households. However, the money is not enough in that it does not finish all household problems.

I spent my first transfer to settle the debts that I incurred when I lost my father and brother.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my money,I felt too much joy and happiness,i felt that God had answered my prayers, because this money came at a time when I had a lot of problems and I really needed to spend it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is that,i was able to settle my debts that i incurred at the time when i lost my father and my brother, and now i am a stress free person and I feel I am now a free man and I freely interact with people,but before getting this money,I had debts with most people in the village that I had failed to pay, this made me to fear to interract with people because they would demand for their money that I borrowed and yet I did not have the money to pay them.
I am now a happy person,this money has brought happiness to my life,I used to be so miserable and worried all the time,wondering how to pay all the debts that I had,I there fore I ask God to bless the donars of givedirectly for bringing happiness to my life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am facing in my life is inadequacy of land for cultivation.
This in most occasions results into hunger in my home,
Working single handedly since i don't have a wife.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i listen to music, when my only child has had a meal and she is satisfied.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i will be able to buy a piece of land to farm in, build an iron roofed house and marry a wife.
