Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because I acquired an ox for ploughing my farm land. I am very happy because soon my workload will reduce after adding more oxen with the second transfer. In the past, I hired from other community members. Secondly, I now sleep comfortably.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received money, I felt very happy because I was going to get household goods like curtains, mattress and an ox which I never had.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I purchased an ox worth UGX 780,000, bought clothes/household goods ( mattress, curtains, utensils, 2 pairs of bed sheets) worth UGX 435,000, bought a goat worth UGX 100,000, repaired bicycle worth UGX 200,000 and bought food ( meat, silver fish, cassava flour) worth UGX 150,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning oxen in order to support in ploughing land for easy crop cultivation. This will improve on household earnings and food security which will reduce malnutrition. I will buy household items like bedding and utesils in order to improve on the standard of living within the household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around 1:00pm. It's very difficult to find what to eat. My household does not own oxen and that makes us cultivate crops late have poor harvest. My happiness emanates from my ability to prepare a meal which makes me strong and able to carry on with other duties.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is that, I do not own oxen to support in ploughing my farm land. My spouse has to support neighbours to plough in their farm land as a means of lobbying for them to give a helping had in ploughing our farm land which comes in late. This some times comes late when it is dry which leads to low yields hence low income for the household.
