What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent on buying 13 iron sheets worth 500,000 ugx and I cleared a debt of 400,000 ugx. I also bought some household items and the balance of the money I am planning to buy bricks so that I can start constructing my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well so far to give us money which he uplifted our families from poverty, we would have died of famine . On the otherhand there is nothing wrong or lacking in what give directly does.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am happier and I own property that I never had in the past. I imagine the hard life I would have had if I had not received the cash transfer, I would not be able to afford food and school fees. Life would have been really miserable.
