What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the whole of the transfer to plaster my house, since it was very dusty and the condition was not good for my health.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life different if l could not have received the transfer is that, l could still be spending more time to repair the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly is an organization which is not corrupt and it keeps its word.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my first transfer in buying two Oxen for ploughing my farm, paid school fees for my child and also bought enough food for my family for the whole season.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I'm currently able to plough my farm using my oxen without spending much money in doing so as in the past, this will also enable my family to have sustainable food supply. I also bough enough food for the remaining part of this season before harvesting.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to enlarge my house. The remaining transfers will be used to lease a piece of land where I can grow sweet potatoes and maize, I will also need to buy some oxen and a ploughing machine which I will use when tilling my farm.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having educated my two sons up to secondary school level and now they are working. I managed to accomplish this by toiling in my farm and ensuring that I saved most of the proceeds from the sale of my crops.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my son who is due to join secondary school next year, if I am unable to raise the required fees he may have to defer his studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning because the Lord has blessed me and my family with life.
