What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 10,000 KES to pay school fees for two of my children in secondary school, bought 10 iron sheets for 6,500 KES to add to some I already had, poles for 8,000 KES, nails for 6,000 KES and paid 10,000 KES as labour charges to construct my house. I also bought two bags of maize for 6,400 KES and the rest was spent on other HH expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been able to construct a bigger house where my children have a room to sleep in and also spacious enough for us to keep our belongings.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to spend the transfer to pay school fees for our two children in high school. We also plan to spend the transfer to buy two bulls and oxen plough that we will use during ploughing. We also plan to spend the transfer to expand the size of the house to accommodate our family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have struggled so hard and built a house for the family. We managed to do this through the little money that we get from the farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced is that we have unstable source of income which make life difficult for the family in terms of getting enough food and clothing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the morning when am busy weeding in the farm. I feel very happy because its source of livelihood to me.
