How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to reroof my kitchen from thatch to zinc. The thacth over my kitchen is very old. My kitchen leeks when there is heavy rainfall . Getting new thacth in this village to reroof house is challenging because of far distances .Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture rendered to me. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my planned to renovate my house kitchen will soon come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly actually did well for us in this village. Givedirectly staffs treated everyone in this village with respects .Givedirectly cash supports helped empowered everyone in this community financially to start building new houses with zinc. Givedirectly is one of the transparent Organizations in Liberia. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash supports. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been building this house i currently live in for the past four years. I have not been able to complete because of several challenges. I have plastered 40% and planning to complete. Though my husband brings income, it is not able to settle all our problems. With this money if opportune, i will be able to buy 50 fifty bags of cements to plaster my house properly and continue the the building of the new project in Yarpa town.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For about a month , my husband was not working. Initially, he was told that due to lack of donor supports , he couldn't be on job. However, on one faithful day , he was called back and given assignment again. Even though it is not much, i am so happy that he has something to do that brings food for the family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Schools have opened. Registrations have begun but yet not enough money to begin my children process. The lack of enough money to fully pay my children fees and prepare them for classes is my current challenge.
