What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to buy water pump and pipes for irrigation purpose. I also purchased family foodstuffs with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my son who didn't have a house now own one which I built him with the proceed from my rice farm. Without GD support, I couldn't have done the rice farming which earned me some good cash to support my son.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it deal with the recipient directly without involving third party. Besides, GD is upto its promise. What GD could have done again is to continue supoporting us to allow us meet our full dreams.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer on a farming project. I ventured into large scale rice farming and horticultural farming. The remaining amount I bought iron sheets that I'll use in building a house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I ventured into farming and I'm hopeful that I'll get enough returns from this project to enable me fend for my family.

We are planning to spend our transfer on school fees for our two children who are in secondary school.

The achievement I am proudest of is enrolling two of my children in high school, and also continuing to support the others through their schooling.

The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of money to clear the fee arrears for my children.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I have finished working in the farm and I am resting at home.
