What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on buying building materials such as a steel door, timbers and building poles since I am planning to build a decent three roomed house. As at the moment I am staying at my grandmother's house hence at time I feel uncomfortable.I bought a goat and one and half sack of maize to feed on with my family members.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different that it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have a driving license hence I am assured of getting a white collar job and earning monthly income for sustainance. My brother has also enrolled in high school and I am very greatful because without GiveDirectly's assistance he could have been a school dropout upto now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly did a good work on enrolling the poorest households to give unconditional cash transfer since their living standards have changed positively as this individuals have used the transfer to achieve their different goals such as building decent houses and investing on businesses too. The area that I can mention which GiveDirectly did not work on well is on giving continues awareness to various communities thus leading to misconceptions.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to join a college so I will use part of the transfers to pay for my college fees. The remaining transfers will be used to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build a house for myself.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked as a casual worker in many farms during school holidays. I managed to save some money and bought quite a number of chicken which provide me with eggs. I usually eat some of the eggs and sell the surplus.
