Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Alongside the school fees payment fr my children, I have an additional goal to put up a small kitchen in the next four months. The small grass-thatched hut we have been using is currently leaking since it's roof is wearing out day by day. It has been our wish as a household that we establish a new mone to match the bigger house which has just been completed. With the monthly transfers we have been receiving, I hope to start sourcing the construction materials so that the work can start as soon as possible.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Upon receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, I have been able to make a lot of changes in our household which have rendered it much different from the way it was before. In the last four months, the biggest difference in my daily life is my ability to pay and clear school fees for my children in a good time. This had been a great challenge before and my children would always be sent home from school to collect their tuition fees, while their counterparts were busy studying. Their positions in the class were never good and I could not do anything about them without the transfers since I already knew where the problem was. A lot of time would be wasted outside the classroom since they would spend more than a week at home but I am now grateful that GiveDirectly came in and made things as easy as they are now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I have great expectations that I will have completed the construction of a new kitchen. Based on the available materials which include woods and some iron sheets, I am only tasked with adding up the missing parts and thereafter looking for a constructor. God's willing the whole process will take a maximum of four months.

I majorly depend on farming and my dream has always to be able to expand my farming activity. This hasn't been possible because I have a small piece of land. In the last four months, I managed to save some little money which enabled me to lease a piece of land that I cultivated maize. to me, this is a big step which am really proud of. Besides, I managed to buy furniture for my living room. With this, I currently relax comfortably in my house after a heavy day's work
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that my life as well as for my household will have changed to be better. I expect a bumper harvest which will enable me to cater for my two children's college fees. Besides, I believe my grocery business will also expand because I plan to pump in more resources to it. Generally, I believe my wellbeing will have improved.
