What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion a portion of the transfer to built an iron roofed house although I bought materials with the second transfer. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now live happily. I was living in a leaking grass thatched house but could not establish a better one due to financial constrains. This used to robe me all my happiness and could not afford a smile on my face.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it really help the deserving in the community. At the moment, I'm not aware of what GD doesn't do well.

I spent most of the transfer to buy building materials as l am planning to build a spacious house, l also bought cow- bulls for farming.

The biggest difference in my life is l now have hopes that l will build a spacious house that will accommodate me with my family members and l also have my own cows that l did not know that l can have.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My plan is buy one cow to raise which in the future can give birth to more,I also plan to buy furniture and bedding for myself and the children and lastly lease some land and plant rice.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to support my family single handedly to this far after my husband passed on in the year 1982.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm going through is on making ends meet since other than farming which I do on very small scale, I do not have any other sources of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I normally take my vegetables to our local market.I get small income by selling this which helps me in supporting my family.
