How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I am a deligthed person seeing that GiveDirectly transfer helped me move from the low life standard I was living (lacking most necessities like a proper bed to sleep on, household utensils, proper meals, among others) to a better standard of living where I now sleep on a comfortable bed, have proper house hold items, eat a proper and timely meal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly in my opinion has done well by helping all the people in my community. To me, it has uplifed me by enabling me to solve some financial issues in my home. However, there is absolutely nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
Together with my husband, I spent my second transfer to add up with that of my co wife to buy a motorcycle. I also bought some pigs. I then spent the balance to buy clothes for my children and myself

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has improved in that, I own a cow and my house is well equipped. Previously, I didn't have enough to buy a cow or households. This is because, the little money we had used to be spent mostly on medical and food. But with this cow, I'm optimistic it will be source of my children's fees in the near future.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I felt very happy. I knew this transfer would enable me buy the items that I lacked.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer to buy a cow, food and household items such as utensils, beddings, clothes.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning an acre of farm land. This will empower me and my household to be food resilient and partly be well nourished the to proper feeding. Currently, I hire land because I am in a polygamous marriage and we only own an acre of farm land including where our homestead is.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when we have eaten dinner and now reluxing sharing stories for the day. That puts a smile on my face after a hard day of hectic work, it refreshes me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Inadequate source of finance is my biggest hardship. This is because I do not have enough land that I would grow crops in order to sell and eat some at the same time. When I cultivate on half an acre, it is not sufficient enough for both saleand household consumption.
